April 2026 NHS Contract Enhancements, Significant Income Uplift

The recent NHS reforms reward dentists for managing higher-needs patients and leading team-based care.

You will benefit from:

• Additional patient management top-up payments of up to £740 per eligible new NHS patient
• £60 urgent care fee (previously £42)
• Full UDA payment across multiple courses of treatment

Dentists retain the management top-up while appropriately delegating elements of care (such as periodontal treatment) to a therapist, allowing you to maximise clinical time while maintaining income.
