We are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Dental Practice Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a dental practice management role to lead and develop our growing multi-site dental practices in Liverpool (Croxteth & Sefton).
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager to play a key role in driving business growth, enhancing private and specialist services, and supporting the long-term expansion of both practices.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership, operational excellence, and commercial awareness, with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care across multiple locations.
The Role
Reporting to the Principal Dentist, you will oversee the operational, financial, governance, facilities, technology, and people management of both sites, Croxteth (8 surgeries) and Sefton (4 surgeries).
You will act as CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance while also driving sales performance, private growth, and patient experience across the group.
You will be responsible for supporting the development of private and specialist services, including (where applicable):
You will also ensure the effective delivery of any NHS contract activity using a mixed skill set of clinicians, where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership & Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations across both sites
Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing clinical and non-clinical teams
Manage recruitment, training, rotas, appraisals, and performance
Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performance team culture
Commercial Growth & Business Development
Drive top-line sales, private revenue, and profit growth
Develop and implement strategies to increase treatment uptake and patient retention
Support treatment coordination and patient finance discussions
Build strong referral relationships with specialist dentists and partners
Monitor KPIs, chair utilisation, and financial performance
Marketing & Brand Development
Develop and manage the practice’s social media presence and online marketing strategy
Support review management, local outreach, and brand building
Promote private and specialist services to expand the patient base
Compliance, Governance & Regulation
Act as CQC Registered Manager and ensure inspection readiness
Maintain compliance with CQC, GDPR, infection control, safeguarding, radiography, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Health & Safety
Oversee audits, policies, and governance frameworks
Manage patient complaints, feedback, and service improvement initiatives
Financial & Operational Management
Support budgeting, cost control, supplier negotiations, and stock management
Oversee diary optimisation and workflow efficiency
Ensure effective use of dental software, CRM systems, and IT platforms
About You
Essential
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Dental Practice Manager (multi-site experience desirable)
Proven track record of sales growth, profit improvement, and performance management
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Comprehensive knowledge of CQC compliance, governance, and GDPR
Commercial mindset with a passion for growth and service excellence
Confident using dental software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
Desirable
Level 4+ qualification in Dental Practice Management or Leadership
GDC-registered clinician background
Experience in treatment coordination and private case conversion
Familiarity with CBCT scanners and intra-oral scanners
Experience managing multi-site practices
